My Day - by Jessica
Today , I woke up at 6:30 AM and went back to sleep till 7:00 AM.
I got up, made my bed, cleaned my room and got dressed. I went out to the kitchen at 8:00 AM and had breakfast. I cleaned my teeth, packed my lunch and left for school at 8:35 AM.
I got to school at 8:50 AM. and had to sit down for 10 minutes. At 9.00 AM our school lined up ready to go into class. We had morning fitness, handwriting, maths and library. We went out to recess at 10.45AM.
I ate some biscuits and pikelets for morning tea. I played handball till 11.10 AM.
When we came into class we did silent reading and English till lunch time.
We went out for lunch at 12.40 PM and I ate a salmon sandwich and a piece of cake.
For play I went down to the bottom playground for ‘tips’-a chasing/running game.
At 1.30 PM we went back into class for Science & Technology and French.
I went home at 3.00 PM and had afternoon tea - more pikelets and some fruit and watched television.
We had dinner at 7.30 PM and had dessert at 8.00 PM.
I went to bed at 8.30 PM.
My Day - by Trevor
Today I woke up early. I went down stairs and ate weet-bix for breakfast. When I finished I went back up stairs and played lego. After that I got dressed then I talked to my brother and then my mum told me I had to hang out the washing so I did that. then it was time to go to school. On the way I saw a steam roller driving past . Then I stopped at my friend Jamie’s house. I walked the rest of the way with him. Finally we got to school so I put my bag away.
After that I went into the middle playground and talked to my friends. Not long after the hooter went so I lined up in my class line. At assembly the teachers were talking about the fete and things that had been lost.
Soon after we went into class . We did our maths and spelling. When we finished them we went to Library. At Library I borrowed a book called ‘I spy’ . After Library it was recess .
At recess I had a piece of watermelon to eat and a packet of chips. Then I played with my friends and after that the hooter went. So I lined up in my class line. About two minutes later my teacher came so we went into class. In class we painted a big drawing that we drawn yesterday. When we finished up we took I went to the playground to play with friends during our lunch break.
After another hooter went, the class room teacher came and we went back into class. We did Science and Technology. Our class is studying space. When we finished the last hooter went to say that it was home time.
I walked home with my friends Mark and James. After I had afternoon tea at home I went to play at James’ house. I went home for tea and ate a baked dinner with roast meat, baked potatoes, baked pumpkin and some carrot. I helped with the washing up then I went and had a shower and went and watched television. I watched ‘Who Dares Wins’. Then I cleaned my teeth and went to bed.
My Day - by Angus
Today I woke up to the sound of my Mum saying come on Angus wake up.
There was no breakfast cereal in the cupboard so I had to have toast that I burnt in the toaster. Then I couldn’t find by brush anywhere. Then I remembered that I had left it at school.
As I was waiting at the bus stop I played handball with my friend. When I got to school I talked with my friends. The first session at school was pretty boring. At recess I had some banana cake and some chopped up fruit.
After recess our class painted. At lunch I had a cucumber sandwich. During lunch break I sat with my friends.
Last session we did Science & Technology and French.
On the way home on the school bus I read my library book.
When I got home I did my homework and mowed the lawn and played a while. I was late coming inside and I had tea a lot later.
For tea I had pumpkin soup and a few chocolates for desert. Then I brushed my teeth and went to bed.
