As mentioned in the last update, the NGfL Project Implementation Group met on the 19th October. The minutes of the meeting are now available on the NGfL page.
One item discussed was a letter received by schools from a company called Schools on the Net. Please note that this is a company specialising in publishing school websites and as such, is not endorsed by the DfEE, NGfL or BECTa. Please do not confuse this company with the similarly named School Names on the Net which is supported by the DfEE.

The two schools that Microsoft will be sponsoring, see the 8th September update, are Reay and Turney.
Thanks to Google, you can now search the web AND Lambeth Connections right from the front page of this website. And, it works well too.
If using Google in the classroom, you can use the filtering service which is accessed from the top of the screen after doing a search. Once switched on, it should stay switched on from that machine.
